The sugar industry waste water is the waste water discharged from sugar beet or sugar cane as raw material in the sugar making process. The amount of wastewater is 0.2-21m3 per 1 ton of sugar production wastewater (about 2.5m3 per ton of sugar beet wastewater).

Treatment method Biological contact oxidation
