The sugar industry waste water is the waste water discharged from sugar beet or sugar cane as raw material in the sugar making process. Wastewater has deep color, high nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Among them, it mainly comes from chute wastewater, squeezed wastewater, distillation wastewater and ground washing water. The amount of wastewater is 0.2-21m3 per 1 ton of sugar production wastewater (about 2.5m3 per ton of sugar beet wastewater).
Treatment method Biological contact oxidation

Microbes adhere to the surface of the filler to form a biofilm. The aerated wastewater flows through the filler layer and contacts the biofilm. Its equipment structure is simple and durable, with low investment, low maintenance, and high oxygen utilization rate. The main equipment is water pump and jet aspirator. The biological contact oxidation method is a facultative activated sludge method and a biofilm characteristic process, so it has the advantages of both treatment methods.
